Default Two new web domain names just added

We just registered http://www.TeamE90.com and http://www.NorCalE90.com as domains that will be forwarded to our forums.

It is our vision that this website be an online community that will appeal to anyone interested in learning about how the BMW E90/E91/E92/E93 3-series can be modified, even those from outside of Southern California. The name TEAM E90 will have a more global appeal, yet retain the regional member groups represented by linking to www.SoCalE90.com, www.NorCalE90.com, and any other substantial regional groups that wish to have representation.

We are grateful for Mark and Jason at Bimmerpost (E90Post, M3Post, etc.) for providing us with comprehensive BMW community forums. TeamE90.com will focus exclusively on the "New 3-series" BMW, with emphasis on ways to modify it's appearance, exterior or interior components, suspension, and other performance-related items. It also aims to enhance the ability of members to form regional groups from which they can network and represent themselves better.

Although this website will retain its functionality, you will begin to see a few changes and enhancements in its appearance and organization. Stay tuned and feel free to provide us feedback.

I could always call it xxxE9x.com, but then people would think it's a porn site.

I know where you are coming from, and at first glance, that sounds like a real great idea.

I think it would be helpful if you understood why we created this website. Take a peek at these links:

About Team SoCal E90

Mission Statement and Vision

The intent of this community forum was not to replicate other sites (e.g., www.E90post.com, www.Bimmerfest.com, etc.), but to provide for local networking among regional members or "teams" of E90, E91, E92, E93 owners, and to better serve individual interests. We are also striving to allow teams of E90 members represent themselves better. E90post.com already exists, and we wholeheartedly support that website as forum members. It is out of respect for those forums that we deliberately avoid duplication.

What started as SoCalE90.com, now includes TeamE90.com and NorCalE90.com, because as registered members of E90post, we began to network with several others outside of Southern California (e.g., Northern California, Texas, New York). The name BMWE90, though specific for make and model, does not accurately reflect the mission and vision for this site. Of course, this is indeed about the BMW E9x, but more so about teams of "new-3" series enthusiasts.

I would suggest as I did to another member, not to get too hung up on the domain name. E46Fanatics.com is not BMWE46.com. Search engines such as Google or Yahoo will spider the BMW and E90 keywords from web content, so our site will be as easy to find without the change in domain name. The addition of the two new domain names was done mainly for political correctness.

As most of you know, rza put the site up for sale recently... well, myself, along with EpicenterDesigns, are the new owners.
For now, things will continue to run as they are... and rza will be around still as an admin to help us with the learning curve. There will be some changes coming soon, but things will be kept true to the vision Mario had when he created the site.
If you have any problems with or thoughts related to the site, feel free to contact me.
